Quality Controller for Green Lite Pte Ltd

We are a trading and buying house based in Singapore with regional offices, seeking for potential candidates to join us in our Quality Control team.

Quality Controller – Garments
(Based in Singapore)

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for checking the quality of fabrics, accessories and garments
* Monitor and control the quality of the garments in our factories
* Work closely with the suppliers and merchandiser in-charge

Requirements:

* Strong technical knowledge of garments
* Quality control background in garments or textile industry
* Have a good understanding of different types of fabrics.
* Have a good understanding of garment construction, quality and workmanship
* Have a good understanding of size specifications, patterns and grading
* Experience working with factories is preferred
* Experience working with menswear is preferred
* Have a keen eye on detail
* Fluent in both written & spoken English
* Ability to speak Mandarin and/or Vietnamese is preferred
* Proficient in MS Office Programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Able to work in a highly collaborative team environment as well as work independently
* Self-motivated, detailed oriented and time management skills
* Proactive, flexible and adaptive to changes
* Willing to work overtime and under pressure
* Travel to China and/or Vietnam is a must
* 5.5 to 6 days work week
