We are a leading Indonesian based Engineering and Construction company specialized in providing support and service to the Oil & Gas industry. We would like to invite highly motivated and competent individual to join MEGARON SEMESTA for the following position with the required qualifications:
FINANCE MANAGER (Based in BATAM)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Oversee daily accounting of A/R, A/P and G/L to ensure accounting record are kept in compliance with the group policies, Local Accounting Standard and IFRS
- Handle Treasury – Cashflow & Budgeting
- Ensuring all invoices and supporting documents are documented prior forwarding for payment processing
- Prepare / analyze monthly financial statement
- To ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly / quarterly reports
- Monitoring and reporting Company’s performance in terms of finance performance on revenue and expenses
- Tracking of performance against budget, KPIs and highlighting any issues and variances for prompt follow-up
- Preparation and review of presentation materials for internal management team
- Monitoring performance of projects and advise on key issues
- Detailed analysis of data which provides input to the line to support decision making as well as improving overall performance
- Reviewing financial justification/business cases of capex proposal
- Participate in forecasting and budgeting exercises
- Undertake Product costing by working closely with project management team
- To assist in the preparation of narratives of variances between actual performance versus forecast/budget
- Analyze and adapt changes in financial guidelines (i.e. IFRS) into processes
- Make recommendation to improve and/or enhance existing procedures and practices
- Coordinate with external auditors during yearly Audits
- Handle taxation matters
- Candidate may need travel within the region to provide support services
- Successful applicant is to be stationed in BATAM
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Possess a Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent
- At least 8-10 years experience, of which 3-4 years experience in one of Big 4 audit firms and 2 years of experience in a managerial position in an international organization (project management / oil & gas industries) would be added advantage
- Experience in handling Group Reporting with the initiatives to develop reporting structure, policies and processes, strong financial & group consolidation accounting knowledge
- Capability of managing a small steam with a positive attitude and creativity ideas
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to details and strong integrity
- Excellent communication with the ability to interact with all level
- Proactive, initiative in problems solving and is able to work under extreme pressure and deadlines
- Able to listen, influence and work in a team environment
